So I lost my password to this site for a while, and when I obtained it again I found that NaoAngel was gone.
How completely jarring it was! With 'In Your Eyes' being one of the stories I would come to this site each day just to see if there was more, to reread certain scenes. Seemingly overnight it was just gone.
Now I don't copy people's work onto my harddrive. I've never regretting this until now though, as I find Nao has fully deleted the stories and will not write anymore. It's their choice, and I am not complaining (as I suppose I'd truly have no right to.)
Its sad though, that the fandom became such an unwelcomed place for an author that they would not just leave, but attempt to erase any proof of their presense. Nao pulled everything from ff.net too.
It's bitterly depressing, and I feel as though in some way perhaps it could have and should have been prevented.
I will miss Sasuke, blind and vulnerable and sweet.
I will miss the author I never really got to know.
